Is this larger squashtail in production and available now? I am 6'2" and 190lbs without gear. I have been interested in the squashtail but at my size I am leary of ordering sight unseen. I am assuming that when I see the "large seat" option --that it is referring to the smaller boat(?)

  2. The "large" squashtail is in productions when Corran is in Italy and can make them only. So, not too many around. I know that he plans to make more sometime this winter when he returns from Mexico.
As for the seats. There are three sized seats that fit into all of the boats. Large, Medium, Race/Testarossa.
I have a side by side comparison somewhere back in an old post on this site. Also would be good to look on dragorossi.net/drboard and do a search for some more info about both the large seat and the large squashtail.

  3. I am 6'1" and 175 pounds. I kayak surf Lake Michigan(on really windy days) and currently use a wavesport T2. I desperatly want to get a surf specific boat. The squashtail looks like what I need for more speed on the steep and choppy freshwater waves. My legs fall asleep after about 15 minutes in my T2. I hope the squashtail wont have the same effect on me. How can I get my hands on a Big Squashtail?
